Hello i need to know how or what i can do to get more power to my farmall a pulling tractor.Somebody said i could change the carburator.Does anybody know whats compadable?
Or if you anything would help.Thank you James.

If it is an "A" Farmall, and stock 113cid, I would suggest displacement increase to 123 (probably easy with a sleeve/piston set)or 135 with a engine or mods to make it the same as a IH-340 engine, or some combine engines were 153 (I think) and had no sleeves but used the same block casting. Carb changes will not change the output dramatically. The stock carb flows well for stock size and RPM. It may need to be fine tuned, but there is no hidden 15 HP in carbs. JimN

Look down further in the Forums, you'll see Tractor Pulling forum, better answers await. Not a lot of pullers with an A though. Go buy a cheap H and have it.

Good luck.
