Switching VAC Case to 12 volt system

Have an old 46 VAC Case. I Want to switch it to as 12 volt charging system. Is the process the same for the VAC as a Super A or C or H Farmall?

If you wire it the same way as an IH, the charging system won't know (& won't care) that its on a Case. It should work the same way it does on an IH. My 6V VAC's two position light switch came from JD, its charging system was re-wired using a JD diagram and it does not seem to care, it works just great. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

Its close, it all depends on if youre going to a generator (and then if its a cutout relay and light switch set up or a Voltage Regulator) or alternator and if youre changing ground Pos to Neg etc. There are other issues of coil and ammeter poalrity if youre changing ground you know.
