dt466 into 1973 1466?

I was wondering if anybody knew if it is possible to put a dt466 out of a 1977 navistar dump truck into a "73 1466...they appear to be the same block but im not really sure.

Might be worth it to give me a call lots of 466 exp. Truck to tractor could have diffrent fuel pump.. Some have piston jet oil cooling difrent water pumps but if you change enough your basic block is the same. Just have to change front hoyusing bell housing and some other things. JW is on it. Same block, some different add ons. Pumps are different since the truck pump does not have a constant speed governor in it, only a high speed limiting one.

All you to do is swap the front timeing cover oil pan and pick up tube exhaust manifold rear engine plate.The 466 may have the inline pump or the rotary.The the front timeing cover off the 14 will work then use the stock pump and lines.
