Aloha I have a Yamaha Grizzly 660 4x4 2007 that over heats when it consistently idles. The dealer can't find the trouble. They have changed the thermostat but it did not help. The radiator is clean and the fluid is full. HELP Mahalo Mike

"Radiator is clean: d'you mean clean on the inside, or did you also inspect/shine light thru radiator fin area to see if outside partially clogged with dust, dirt, dry leaf debris??
Possibly partly corroded or scale buildup on water pump impeller, reducing efficiency at low engine speed??
Did this have fan shroud, or option for one if yours doesn't have one??
Everyone loves a mystery...Good luck; let us know what cures it.

they get quite hot if they"re not moving fast. I use my 2004 Grizzly at slow speeds & it gets hot fast, almost too hot to stay on. Climbing a mile long hill with passenger on rough roads & its boiling by time I reach the top. I keep it running as it gets hotter if you shut it off but speed is the only way I can cool mine. Mine is very cold natured at start up even in summer. In winter I have to start it 10 minutes before I go anywhere. Nature of the beast.
