Massey 135 Hydraulic problems

Hello friends I am new to the site, But I also knew this would be the place to consult the real experts. Got a 69 model 135 from this guy and the tracor had been through a flood. right after the water went down the tractor went to the shop. All was fine with the tractor except the hydraulic system was not correct after the flood. All the rest of the tractor was OK. He let the tractor sit for 2 years and that's when I came along. Before starting the tractor I changed all the fluids, filters etc... The hydraulic system at first would lift a box blade 4 inchs off the ground then set there and pluse up and down a little. After several hours run time I looked down in the transmission fill hole and the fluid was sightly milky. Out came the fluid and was changed again. The lift is even slower that before and will not lift the box blade or nothing. it will come all the way up with no load after 1-2 minutes. I am waitng for service manuals but is there some kind of system filter that I am missing somewhere???
Please advise.
Thanks

I am having about the same problem on a MF 35 diesel. Changed the fluid because of water in system. It will now pick up mower when cold. But when hot it will hardly get it off the ground.

Have you tried cleaning the screen (filter)? It's behind the pto shifter, just have to takethat plate off and pull it out. Make sure you get the shifter in the right position when reinstalling.

Thanks a million on all the ideas. I will check that suction strainer/Filter to see if it is plugged. I was not sure if this tractor had one or not. God bless all of you.
