It might be slow but it does a good job. The fertilizer cans were in bad shape this year so I just adapted some 5 gal. buckets till I can make new ones.

my dad in law has the same tractor and dearly loves it for his garden. is a 1958 model and he has owned it for 36 years. last week the engine started to run at a uncontrolled high rpm, got it into the garage and shut it down. later tried to restart it and would not start, not sure what happened, do not think it overreved and damaged the engine. currently reading the manual and will check it out next weekend.

The best tractors are the ones that get the job done especially when you have to be creative and adaptive. It works, right? All that matters.

Enjoy, use in good health, and work safe.

Rollie, I have the same planter that you have, Do you have both fertlizer units for each side of the tractor? I am looking for the fertlizer units for my cub. If you know where I can find them let me know Dave F. [email protected]

Dave: I have the 2 row fertilizer attachment. I also have the planter plates to plant corn, string beans, pumpkins in a hill and other stuff.
I think I paid 50.00 for the planter and fert. attach. about 30 years ago.
