HARD FROST again!

We had a low of 26.4 on the 3rd. Last night we hit 24.4. That's gatta be a record for June 6th!

We're in Northern Minnesota; about half way between Bemidji and the Canadian border.

It actually was 32 degrees at midnight when I went to bed. It's pushing 9:00 now and it just got back up over freezing. I haven't checked the garden yet but eight hours of below freezing temps could have been bad even though we covered most things.

About the same thing happened here in SW Manitoba last night. My concern is not with a garden though.

For Portage La Prairie, MB that was the coldest night on record for that date. Previous low was 0C (32F) in 1898.
