Somehow a few weeks ago my husband enlarged a news paper clipping on this forum. I can't figure out how to make the print normal size. Everything is giant on our computer! How do you shrink things back to normal size? He is already on thin ice!!!! W4's Better Half
 
select the View menu then text size. There is also a way to do it with the scroll wheel but I forget how it was done. Not sure it IE7 or 8 Are the same or not.

I can't give you the Bill Gates version, but when I want to shrink something, I just right click on it, select send to, select email recipient, and it automatically asks if you want to resize is. There is also a windows image thing that works but you just have to play around a little.

At the top of your screen, click on "view". In the box that opens up, click on "text size". Choose the size you want and click on it.

This is with Windows Vista, if you are using Windows XP, there will be something a little different, but similar.
 
Hold down the Ctrl key on the bottom row left hand corner, and hit the + or - key on the number pad, top right hand corner. This will shrink or expand the text to a size you like.
