Profanity in Literatuatre

Knowing that many of you have studied literature and history, I was hoping someone could help me to find a copy of a speech by someone who I think was a Confederate General. In his speech he had used most every known word of profanity and no word of profanity was used twice. Jeff Cooper in Guns and Ammo mentioned it but did not repeat the speech. I found the speech years ago as a student and the girls in the library so not care to help find it.

Look up Jubal A. Early; not familiar with the speech, but it sounds like him.

General George Patton must have copied the idea then because he gave a doozy to his Third Army in the late winter of 1944.

Thank you for the replies. I have not found the speech but Early sounds right and I read Patton's speech and it is equally interesting. I served in the 2nd Armored Division after they returned from Germany to Fort Hood, Texas and some of the old NCO S had served with Patton and were also forceful leaders. Old "Hell on Wheels" was a GREAT unit.
