1st Cutting Alfalfa(pics)

Got a chance to start cutting our alfalfa fields.While waiting for the rains to pass,got pretty dang thick!

Had a couple "helpers" makin' sure I was doin' OK
They gave me 4 paws up!

if you lower that lean bar it will help feed the alfalfa stem first into the rollers. That's why it's out front.
Incredible looking aldalfa. What maybe 1.5T just that cut?

Good looking hay crop. Good choice of tractors also.
They were calling for four days of sun in a row starting today so I was going to cut hay last evening. The up and changed the forecast to two days of sun in a row at the most for the ten day forecast. Think I will hang back for a few days to see what the guessers lie about next.
