Zero Turn Lawnmower Decision

I am trying to decide on a zero turn riding lawnmower. I have narrowed my choices to a Hustler or Country Clipper. The Hustler has a two-cylinder Honda engine, but the clipper has a pull up deck where you can sharpen the blades without getting under the mower. The price is the same. Please advise.

I sharpen my blades TWICE a year, first time after the first 3 or 4 mowings and you have cleaned n leveled any mole holes or rocks or sticks or high places etc and then maybe the end of July or so. Therefore, with only 2 such sharpenings, how hard or easy it is isnt my main concern........I pull up my loader tractor near the front n drop a chain n hoist it up about 3 feet then grab my air impact wrench n drop the 3 blades PIECE OF CAKE. Of course, Im NOT saying it wouldnt be nice to have a raise up deck, Im only saying sharpening isnt all that bad when one uses a lift tractor and air wrench.

Mines a Husquavarna with a 61 inch deck and 25 HP two cylinder Kawasaki shes a grass eating machine.

Best wishes

I have a country clipper with the joy stick control and I love it. I have owned it 3 years with no problems. Hope this helps.

I got a Hustler Z with the 25 HP Kawasaki and 60 inch deck. Cut/runs like a dream. Built very strong and heavy. Tom

I dont have a zero turn yet ,but it will be a zero turn when I do buy my next one.Anyways I have a friend who is one of those guys who is a research fanatic when he buys something. He had dealers bring them to his house to try out each one.Well he swears by the Gravley,(not sure if I spelled that right).I dont know anything about the models you have mentioned,or prices.I do know though that them Gravleys are quite pricey. But if my friend reccomends it,then that will be the next one in my barn.
Just my 2 cents.
Good Luck with whatever you buy.

I have a Gravely. I wish I had bought something else. It never has mowed real good, my old sears did better. My neighbor has a Landpride that mows a lot faster.

We run 3 of the Hustler Fastraks at work two with Hondas, one with Kohler. These are bar-none the best mowers I have ever owned, as others have said, very heavy built, great deck warranties. I decided I needed one at home, so we bought one of Hustlers new Sport models. It has many of the same components as the commercial models, heavy deck, spindles etc. We chose the 48" model with 20hp briggs. We have been extremely pleased with it. I was cautious about the Briggs but it runs great. Buy the Hustler.
