No spark on Case 531 gas

After cutting a pasture for about an hour my "64 Case 530 gas died while idling. Last year I changed the dist cap, plug wires, condenser & rotor and points.
It"s got no fire at the points when I open them with the key on and no fire at the plug wires when I crank it over. There"s fire from the coil wire when I crank. When it died it just killed as if I'd turned the key off. There was no sputter...it just stopped.
I"m no mechanic. Does this sound like the condenser gave out?
Thanks in advance.

I have had that happen to my Oliver 77 more then once. To fix it I would put in a new rotor. Now then you say you have no spark at the points but you have spark from the coil wire. Sorry to say that is not possible because for the coil to work the points have to be working

Just because parts are new, doesn't eliminate their failure.
I have installed many electrical parts that were defective.
This is espically true with the Chinese parts we get today.

It sounds like you have a problem with the rotor or distributor cap.
If the coil is working the points are at least "breaking".
Inspect the distributor and the rotor for "carbon tracking", which would indicate a crack.

Thanks guys. I'll look at it all again this weekend.
Old, you're right about the making and breaking of the points and the coil...I must be missing something right off the bat.
Thanks for the link to repair procedure.
I'll let y'all know what I find.

I checked things out again today. I do have spark at the points. It looks weak to me. The spark from the coil wire isn't blue and seems weak also. It's kind of orange or yellow, not blue. I didn't see any carbon tracking on the dist cap. I used a test light and have no juice at dist plug wire hole. From the little I know and from what I've read it must be a rotor or dist cap problem even though both have only 10 or 15 hrs on them from last year. They're stamped, "Made in Mexico".
I guess I'll get a new rotor and cap and see what lights up.
Thanks,
Jacques

I changed the rotor & cap and it started first crank!
I'm gonna show the old cap and rotor around to see if anybody around here can see anything wrong with them. I don't.
Thanks for the help!
