8N tractor steering

Is there an aftermarket or any kind of power steering you can add to a 8N tractor? I am looking to put a power steering system on my 8N due to shoulder issue.

It will be cheaper and work better to trade up to a 800 or higher series Ford or other brand. At the same time you can gain live pto & live hydraulics at the same time.

Google it, but yes, I have seen a system for doing that. But it might cost more than the tractor is worth.

There"s a guy ( Rolland Jackson )that"s developed PS units for 8n & others . Check out Jackson Power Steering . Not exactly sure how its correct name but I"m close . My recollection is that it costs about $1,200. And in the case of the 8N, I think you'd have to get a hydraulic pump as well, because I don't know how you'd tie into the hydraulics, and even if you could, your steering would quit whenever you shut off the PTO.
