I found this little owl sitting on my shed
in the middle of the afternoon.You can see in the one picture its eyes are closed but he has an eye on me.

When I was a kid I caught an injured owl and it was then that I learned to never let it wrap it's claws around your finger. OW! Jim

I always enjoy it when the critters come for a "visit". Most of the critters at the farm have learned we won't hurt them and they don't run from us.

What's interesting is, if we're on a tractor, the deer don't spook, but if we're in a vehicle (during hunting season) they run.

Guess they've figured out if you're on a tractor, you're not hunting.

Quick, go build an owl house and put it on a pole. Google on how to build one. They'll take care of the mice and stuff.
