Is the steering box spindle shaft length out of bottom of box the same as an Avery ? Rebuilt front end and chassis didn"t have box so I took one off an Avery patrs tractor I had and the the M&M steering arm won"t reach up to the box shaft .

What model MM?? There were many steering systems used, commonly the self contained "box" was made by Ross. There were dozens of variations for different applications.

Probably the greater percentage of steering gear systems used on MM tractors was a worm and sector system made by MM and incorporated within the front end casting below the radiator.
