I have a free ad on a car site for some parts and now I get all kinds of wacky emails.I just delete them all.I did open one by mistake and the guy called the part he wanted "the item".I even said in the ad "if your a scammer dont bother Im not sending you money".They still try.Dont open any unknown emails or you may get viruses too.

Heard on the news this morning that the Feds shut down that company that is selling extended warranty's on autos. The one that calls by computer and you can't stop them. Well they won't be ripping anyone off for a long time. Nice to hear some good news now an then.

Are these vermim impossiable to track down?I don't believe they are.The point to take action has long past to remedy out of control scamming instead of putting additional laws in the books to punish some U.S.born ranch hand that carries his rifle in his pickup.

What is a tourist manager doing picking up car parts. And why can't these people learn to spell. Guess I made them mad. I don't get scam mail anymore. Was always good for a morning chuckle.

I advertised for a chain guard for my 36 Indian 4 cylinder. These things are as scarse as hens teeth. I have received atleast 8 replays from across the pond. I doubt these motorcycles were ever sold in the UK. Seams like there is a lot of them over there? Stan

Every single ad we post on Craigslist, we get scam or spam emails from them. Nice to buy stuff though. I bought my Farmall M off craigslist and there are a lot of other cheap tractors, I want the JD A with JD wide front thats on there!!

When i got out of Army in 1946, and for several years later, i finally bought a 1936 Indian Chief 2 cylinder cycle! I had my left foot removed from a war-time injury, so i had to rework the clutch pedal to work like a car pedal, but i rode it all over this area. Then, needing cash to get married, i sold it for $250!
Wish i had it now!! Foresight is much better than hindsight!

They're getting better. I contacted an ad for a car that was about the right price for the age. But when I contacted about seeing and asked for more info, it became screwy. The milage was super low and he wasn't in the advertized town but he could ship.
