I'm trying to get the Wisconsin engine out to rebuild it. I can't figure out how to remove the pulley. I've removed the movable shiv. The piston is still inside. Anyone know what the secret is to pulling off this pulley. Thanks,

Remove the outsied snap ring, remove outside pully shive. snap ring on the inside of the inside pully shive, remove this and the hyd piston. put the bolt back in tr protect the threads. wedge behind the pully shive and give the bolt head a good blow with a hammer. shaft tapered and keyed. get it to move at all it comes free. e-mail me if you have nore questions

Had a610 about 13 yrs back,no cage ,thought it was the cats meow when i got it.That thing was a accident waiting to happen[without the cage]I had mine rebuilt at one time also.I can remember on those really cold mornings when it didnt want to start i would take the knipco and put it about 2 ft a way from the air intake and let her blow for a good 30 min. Then it would start. Good luck
