I have a 1037 NH bale wagon and cannot get it to unload without pukeing the load. I use the tying process described in the manual and still i get the same result. I have sanded the supports to lessen resistance--no luck. The bad part is I'm unloading in a 40X80 barn with aconcrete floor that should make a photo opp. Please help?????

No--i was under the impression that tht only applied to outdoor stacking? If I have to rope this gets complicated doesnt it?

I always put a stack of round bales in the back of the barn, or dumped 12 feet from the back, let the top tip off and rick it against the back of whats left to leave me something to dump against.

After that, just make sure the rolling rack barely clears the previous stack so it stacks solid and use the stack poles. I'd normally put a tie tier in 4 and set for 2 bale on the last tier. That tied the stack tighter and losing one bale per load was easier than fooling with stack poles. I would check my load during dumping 3-4 times per dump for the first 20-25 loads of the season just to make sure I knew where I had it placed. Takes a while to get the hang of it. I made nothing but messes my first year with a NH bale wagon. After that I got pretty good at it.

If the bottom bales are pulling out on the face of the stack, make sure the tips arent bent on the rolling rack. I normally had to straighten mine at least once a week. If the center of the stack is bulging, check the bushings on the second table pivots. When they get worn the load rack stack doesnt get in right. About every 700-900 loads mine needed replaceing.

Check the cables on your rolling rack. I had a 1034 that I had to put a new cable on and I apparently got the cable to long or it stretched. I kept kicking the bottom bales out and spilling my stack. When I decided to quit farming and sell my hay equipment I had a load on the wagon and my son came over to unload it for me. I saw what was happening. The rack was going to low and the heels of the fingeers were dragging and tipping the points up and pulling the bottom bales out.

Thanks for all the suggestions. We spent the day brushing/sanding the tables clean, straightining the arms on all tables and getting arms to flt flat on floor. I hope this works_ I'm starting to get frustratied with a machine that was suppose to eleviate the work????
