How is your preemergent performing so far?

We planted april 24th(corn) and sprayed the 25th, recieved 3/4" rain on the 26th. Co-op sprayed Gmax lite, supposebly 2.5 pints to the acre. So far is seems like there isnt alot of weeds coming up, but then it has been cool and dry. They told me I should get 1 month plus of no weeds sprouts. I wanted to use Lumax, but that would have cost $24/acre where as the Gmax cost was $16. We"ll see if I should have spent the extra $8. What have some of the rest of you used and how is itworking, or how has it worked in the past. Just wanting to learn and figure knowledge sharing isnt gonna hurt any of us.

Last year we actually had preemergent sprayed on ahead of the planter then we went over it with our spike tooth drag. Worked great, and you could really tell where it was sprayed and where it wasn't.

Can't say what they used, as Dad is the one that takes car of all of that.

So far,so good.

We had a half-rate of Harness spread on along with the urea, then incorporated it in.Should be able to get by with just one spraying.

I used Keystone this year. At $25 an acre it better last till canopy.

It is about the same as Harness.

Lasso and Atrazine mix.

Do you guys use a 2 pass system? I just use one pass.
