They now say they gave out 454 mil to about 6000 employees. If they all got an equal share that would be 75k a piece, of course it was probably heavy on the top side.
Bet 75K is a good salary on this board.

Heck, they lost so much on my wife"s retirement account, they deserve a bonus. We sure ain"t a gettin one!

I maintained AIG as my insurer since 2000. I am dropping them today. They have made at least 20 mistakes on my policy since Oct 08. They deserve to go under. I am currently driving without a cetrificate of insurance due to a mix up where they sent last policy's cards, but with vehicles I haven't owned in over a year. I get huge bills, then a letter saying not to pay that bill because a revised bill is on the way. It was as big as the first. I was looking at a new car, but when I called to check the rates, it has turned out that one of my vehicles was dropped.

I am supposed to be getting new cards in the mail today, but I will have signed with State Farm before the mail gets here...

You would think that company profitability would be the first consideration in an employment bonus contract or any bonus for that matter. And we wonder why they were nearly bankrupt. How many other areas of their business are this messed up?

I have to wonder why the govt put stipulations and conditions on the bailout funds to the car companies and none on the financial industry.
