ot/pole barn cost

What is a good price per square foot to figure the value of a pole barn for insurance purpose. The barn is to store hay and equipment, metal sides and roof, dirt floor and open ends Thanks in advance.

I had one built exactly like that last summer, labor and materials between $8 and $9 per foot

1500 square feet, 4 bays, 14 foot ceiling, 1 side open (no doors). Hay and equipment.

It cost me a little over $3 a square foot to build (my labor materials only).

The county assed it at $9 a square foot (added to tax value).

Apraiser put it at $12 a square foot (added property value).

My insurance guy said I could go up to $15 a square foot (replacement cost).
