TD6 Crawler

I have recently purchased an International TD6 crawler. The number on the dash plate is TDBK 3992. Can someone tell me about what year it is and how do I find which engine is in it? It is a 4 cyl. Thanks.

Here's your info. Comes from the PayLine book by Oscar Will.
1940-s/n TDBK 501-4434
Engine should be a D248 diesel that starts on gas.
Have fun with it. I have a 1948 T6 which is the gas model
