i was just wondering what do yall think about kubota tractors i hear bad things about them but is that true just wondering might be buying one

i have owned kubotas for 6 years now, the first was a L3130 which i used primarly for mowing with a 6 ft. finishing mower. my son owns it now and it has given us great service with no problems what so ever. i purchased a new L3420 with a fel last year and have had zero problems also. both tractors are 4wd, hydrostastic drive and mow, plow home garden plots and on occasion box blade. great tractors but of course i typically keep a ford around as a backup.

In my opinion, they are the best tractors made today. I have and do own AC, Ferguson, John Deere (2008 model) and Kubota.

Just make sure you buy the model that you should depending on intended use, and not opt for a lighter cheaper priced model.

We've had them for 20 years. Can't hardly beat them. We're hard on 'em, use the front loader non stop and put on around 600 hours a year. Small one we have now is a 5740 HST. Bought a big M125 for loading and light farm work. Really like it.

Dave,
Better wait until the titts are off the tires before you say no
complaints. See if it still works or is even around when it gets as
many hours/years as either of the others, leave it outside as
many hours as the 240 and see if it has any paint left. See if you
have any fenders at all; watch them vibrate when moving at
mowing speed and be surprised.

I have had a Kubota L245DT for 32 years now and it has been a good tractor. It has been outside all that time; the paint is faded some, but no worse that any other tractor that old. The rear tires, Bridgestones, are still in pretty good shape. Probably its biggest shortcoming is that I am one my fourth water pump.
