ATV tires?????

Hey folks,
I'm wondering how much ATV tires will collapse. Looking to buy a set but they are more than twice the price here as in the States. Was thinking to have my buddy mail me a set but they would have to collapse dome so all 4 and less than 12 inches (+/- a little) tall. Think that's possible?

my guess would be to get anywhere close to shrinking 4 atv tires that small would be to get urself at least 4 large zip tye's and go around all 4 tires at once on opposite sides while you or someone else pushes them together while tightening the tye's
 
What do you think the differance in shipping would cost compared the actual price over there.

It cost me 12 bucks to send a 50 cent spring to that George fella we know.
 
My postage is domestic US (NY). Next time he needs something, you can ship it to me and I can get it to him (saves him paying import tax and you a bunch of postage/headache).

It would depend on the tires. If they are any kind of good, modern mud tire....NO they will not. They are made as solid as a car tire.

If they are some 2 ply flotation tires, they should bend much more.
 
Thanks Dave I'll remember that!

Don't know how it would work for tires ,but maybe something like a heavy plastic bag vacuum sealed would collapse those tires enough to get them in a smaller box.
 

I'll try. Will be in the States in a week or so and will be doing some shopping and mailing stuff back.
