Going to look at a 1586 tommorow, is there any tricks to tell if a TA is getting weak. I have had a 1466 for ten years now, but it does not have a TA, it has the straght shaft in it. If the TA is weak will it slip easier when its warm or when the oil is cold? Will it have a vibration or rattle or just simply slip? Also which part of the TA goes first, iam guessing the slow end, because i thought when its forward it is direct, i don't know much about them. Thanks for any replies.
