I always liked the fact that they chose my birthday to celebrate earth day. Reason being that I have move a bunch of it In my life plowing, digging, bulldozing, hauling,and pulling up trees.

Who WAS Lenin. Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. The first Earth Day occurred on his 100th birthday.

Lenin was leader of the October Revolution, and one of the primary founders of the Soviet Union.

Planted my fuschia baskets today. I like to hang a couple of fuschias on each side of the porch on my office- but if I buy the nice lush blooming ones, some %#$@ steals them. So I buy starts- takes a little longer to get to the blooming stage, but by then, the theives have already stolen someone elses.

Wanted to cut some fire wood in honor of Earth Day, but don't think I'll have time.
