All The talk of Muscle cars , Today my son And I saw a New White Challenger, unmistakeable and i am a FORD lover ,I asked Will ,WhatWAS THAT ? looked like a late 70s version prototype that was never built,..This car deserves a 2nd look ,, and Not beecause I can AFFORD one

Really sharp car- We looked hard at them, but ended up with a Charger R/T. Same car, same price, more doors. Still got a kid at home, and his 6'4" frame don't fit in the dinky back seat of the Challenger. Maybe next time...

Got me thinking too..... How much are they going for at normal dealers?
Overseas Military Car Sales has a Challenger for 34K and a few Chargers for around 26K (don't know the details on eng etc, just the sticker price).
Pretty cars though.

I can't believe that there are not more of them on the road. They are very cool and the SE v6 cars are in the low $20K range.

Does it look like I have tried to talk myself into buying one since the first time I saw one?

Yes, the new Challenger is almost a dead ringer for the originals. And Ford did a very nice job with the latest Mustang. Chevy is coming out with a 60's style Camaro. The big three have finally figured out that you need to produce cars that people want to buy.

Well, I'mm 66 years old and the 1960's era MOPARS were my favorites. Dodge has done a great job recreating the Challenger, such a good job that even a confimed truck guy like myself is looking at them. Don't know what will come of it but I've learned soemthinga bout myself over the years: if I'm not careful, looking leads to buying!!

It's a shame that new cars (in the last 20 years) have gotten SO UGLY that manufacturers now have to dig up styles and designs that were truly eye appealing and cool in the 50s and 60s. Now, if they'd figure out how to put a little bit of chrome on them instead of all that painted plastic...
