Well my sciatica came back to haunt me ,about1,30 this morning.I thought it was going to leave me alone but woke up with lots of pain in left leg again .Too dark to try walking it off again.Maybe later.

I hope you can find relief soon. Not only is the pain miserable, but the lack of sleep makes life more disheartening. I did not read any of the previous posts, but I hope you can find a doctor who can do you some good. God bless.Jim

If you have a better half, have her push on it with her thumb to soften it. Kind of hurts good during but feels much better when done.

Happens to me every time I get the farrier tools out to work on the horses.

have you tried msm? Its supposed to be an anti-inflammatory. You can get it alone or included with chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine. Just a thought.
If its somewhat close to the surface, you can get Blue Emu Oil at Walmart. Its a cream and on the isle that has the ben-gay, etc. My orthopedic dr. suggested it when I broke my wrist. Seems to help the pain. Its not expensive. Might give it a try.

A TENS unit let me sleep at night. Sends a mild electrical shock across your spine.
This is the IGIA' ElectroSage 8 that I used. It really helped almost to the point of curing mine. I put one electrode on the "swollen" side of the back area and the other on the front of my thigh. The voltage and frequency are variable. You may find more info Googling it. I know the pain you're going through. David.............
