OT Crazy Weather!!!!

Cloudy and cool this morning in NW Ill. Right after dinner, it hail for 5 minutes or so, then rain off and on and then some more smaller hail later on in the afternoon. Glad I was in the shop! I think it's gonna be another crazy weather year. Chris

GOING to be another crazy weather year? It already is.

How about the snow near Denver? 52 inches in the foothills, still people without power.

NWS climate summary from Burlington, IA, which is my closest reporting station, has had below normal temps every day this month except 16-17-18.

March precipitation was 3.22 inches above normal for the month, and it hasn't dried up enough to even plant onions and potatoes. We are only .18 below normal for precip this month. Temp is 3.4 degrees below normal so far.

last friday had my shirt off it was 72 degrees got sun burned, today I had my winter coat on and it was 42 degrees with the wind blowing 30 mph, northwest wisconsin
 
Same thing here in Northern NY. We are stuck between winter and spring, have been for the last month. Never had a year with so much wind, tho, since last fall. "below normal" temps are now the norm here. Gotta be that global warming. Algore, where are you when we need you?
 
Yep! We had nice warm late in February and early in March. Then it turned cold. Didn't lose our blossoms on the fruit trees, but all the garden stuff that we got out early is more or less just sitting there. Now in addition to being cold, it is wet, though that is normal.
