Open letter to James and Nancy

After the previous couple of weeks abuse that Nancy has been taking, there are a couple of things I would like to say. First and foremost, thanks for taking the high road and not stooping to the level of certain unsavory characters that have been attacking you. Second, and I think I speak for most people on this forum, we appreciate and enjoy your pictures and comments. Third, I think you both embody the spirit of this forum. Keep up the good work and thanks for all you contribute.

James is out of town right now, but I think he would concur with what I have to say.

James and I thoroughly enjoy this forum. We enjoy the pictures, the posts and have learned a great deal. This forum has also enabled us to share our knowledge with others.

We have made friends here and we will continue to frequent this forum, glean wisdom and share the wisdom we have with others.

We are both Christians and believe in behaving in a Christ-like manner. That is not going to change. We have a loving and strong marriage and that is not going to change either.

For both of us, I thank you for your support.

High moral ground is shared by many and ridiculed by those who haven't the traction to get there. Thanks for your input. Jim

I missed it too.

There are always plenty of GOOD folks here, and always a few with their nnalert in a bunch.

This Forum is TRACTOR TALK DUH!! When you brag about TEA PARTIES and HIGH morality, You become a target for Whatever it is your so righteous about. Those are rules of the playground you should have learned when you were 2 years old!! take your garbage ELSEWERE

Not sure WHAT's going on ... But I agree with cj...
Also want to say Nancy & James ... I Really enjoy your your posts and pictures..

Keep the Tx. spirit up ... and remember theres LOTS of friends here...

Mark

Some have grown up and left the playground and can speak and discuss matters of morals and politics without taking offense to differing view points after all that is how we learn.

We appreciate you living up to your beliefs and living the christian life, and being the example we all should be,in spite of the criticisim you may get, altho I havent seen it on this forum.

cj, altho i didnt catch the posts, i agree with you. james and nancy alway post something good, never derogatory, great photos, and some real nice tractors, (cept the color is wrong!!). seems regardless of any topic posted here, there is always one sour grape. unfortunate. i read most all the topics posted, sometimes i learn something, but if i disagree with a post, i never try and flame the poster. its just plain childish.

Since I've been away a few days, I checked back to see what the fuss was about.
Most of us on here give and take, as far as ribbing one another, but the same names keep showing up of those that seem to enjoy showing their limited compassion for others.

James & Nancy, here you've been friends, and you have friends in return
Bruce

I don't know since Nancy came on the list I have spent a lot of time in the hospital, I'm not saying its her fault but it has been quite a coincidence.
Walt ( waiting to see how the new meds work.)

I believe we just all need to "take the pledge" to ignore the trolls. I've baited him myself, and will not do it again. Surely he'll move on eventually.

I think she is alright... it's nice to have a woman's touch on a lot of issues.Wish to see more of you on the forum...

The problem as I see it is the rules are broken on a regular basis. The site runs wild with no moderator or not read by moderators. On some of the Hot Rod sites the OT stuff is gone an hour after its posted. They tried a separate political section awhile back but it became such a moron fest it was insane.I think any question should stay about any vehicle, tractors, farming related.nice photos or even Alans music.Lanse has posted some entertaining stuff too.It seems the certain individual that was the troll here just seems to want to maximize his annoyingness. The basic problem is there is no participating moderator.Other than that I really enjoy it myself.I have saved heavy equipment owners some bucks with info I had obtained here from people that were glad to help.I also had to learn some etiquete at first like not hijacking someones post by adding a question but posting it as a new subject. That seems to happen alot here. Also some guys should just call each other on the phone when posting what amounts to a private conversation.Helps to keep it somewhat polite as you would if you were in public face to face with the individual your responding too. Thanks for listening.

I thank you cj.

I have taken a stand in James and Nancey"s defense Not realizing I was only feeding the animals that were attacking, I will no longer continue to do that.

Let them starve and they will either die, or go away.

Be it good or bad, these posts reflect on a person. The same folks probably live a miserable life, few if any friends---and by the way--it probably has to be some one eles fault.

I do get concerned that so many sneak in politics regardless if the original post is actualy about tractor--(I have seen a few tractor posts the last few years). Political experts seem to convey their vast knowledge on this board---thunbing their noses at the rules, or rubbing the monitors nose in it.

So therefore no one should be upset for some jerks remarks, they are just as smart as the beer smart folks at the local watering hole. If you question a idiots mentality, or don't think they are smart? Just ask them to explain how smart they are. They will no doubt tell you how smart they are!

J&N, I have never noticed a improper post from either one of you, and I hope you can ignore the mean remarks from those less fortunate folks. You must remember they probably indeed have a very sad life.

dont post much mostly read dad said opinions are like rearends everybodys got one and they all stink most people got a little mud on them too folks that live in dream land glass houses should not throw rocks my wife is wife no.two we have had sixteen great years dont attend church but am going to heaven feel its better to live the life than just talk it jim and nancy pay no attention to small minded people if i spell something wrong remeber im just an old river bottom man from ky

I guess I've missed what the issue was, but my support is with you, James and Nancy---Keep doing what you're doing.

(quoted from post at 18:03:43 04/17/09) dont attend church but am going to heaven feel its better to live the life than just talk it

Spelled that pretty good!!!! You's OK in my book. As for James & Nancy, don't sweat the small stuff Joe's gotta pull his head out of his a$$ every now and then so he can pass on his hypocrisy to folks else he'll suffocate.. Wouldn't want that on your head would you???

Dave

I am new to this site,so I don't really know the two of you but.Live the life that makes you happy and don't worry about what others say. If they don't like what you post no one is making them read it.Keep up the good thoughts and remember you have more friends here than you probably know about.
