We're tractor shopping. Have it narrowed down to either a JD 6115D or a Kubota M108X.Here's what my daughter had to say about it....

"It's the biggest mix up that you have ever seen, me father he liked orange and me mother she liked green"

That goes back a LONG time ago, the old JD and red paint war.

Q: Why do they paint JD's green? A: So they can hide in the grass while the real tractors work.

Husker Harvest Days, Grand Island Nebraska news flash several years ago:
JD combine and C-IH axial flow running snout to snout picking corn. Jack rabbit ends up going through IH combine, comes out the back still running full speed. Crowd "BOO'S", what kind of combine so bad it will let a rabbit pass through unhurt?

IH operator shuts down his machine, reaches in the grain tank for the rabbit's jewels, and tells the crowd "we only save the seeds".
