farmall cub carb ??

i just over hauled the carb but now it wont rev like it should,but it idles fine. any pointers.

could be wear in the governor linkage
could be wear in the governor
could still be carb problems specially if anything other than a real IH rebuild kit was used

Did you check and clean the oil bath in the air cleaner?

sounds like you used a Tasco kit or other aftermarket kit with a gasket that protrudes into the float chamber
ONLY A IH KIT will be trouble free not any kit from an IH dealer
once again FARMALLCUB.com
this is discussed in great detail along with a lot of other little gotcha's
