Rims and Hubs

Thanks for the reply's on the oil lines...I called NAPA and they can build the line. Next question...My front rims have the hubs attached to them as all one piece. In other words, to change the tire you must remove the hubs as it is all one piece. Is this common for a 1949 A/C model B? Couldn't I just buy a set of hubs with bolt holes and match them to a rim? Any ideas where I can get the hubs? I've called the parts department on this web site and they do not sell hubs.

if the hubs are rivited to centers, then the unit if from a very early B, my 1939 had them. I think they switched to normal bolted on units in 1940 or 41 at the latest. Someone will have a better answer, but those are off a very early B.

Here is a picture of the front rites and rims

Maybe I'm mistaken, but judging by picture you don't have standard tires or rims (on either end of the tractor). I don't believe spoked rims were ever a factory option on an Allis B.

You indicated that you were out of options. What are you trying to accomplish? If the tires are working, why change them? If not, why not simply change the rubber?

If you are looking for prices, just do a search on Ebay. They tend to have a decent selection to get some ideas from.
