Needed a new broom for sweeping the hay, silage feed ect back up to the cows in the tie stall, so went to Kmarts and found a real nice broom made by Libman, made in USA TOO, about $12.00 bucks I think. Anyway it has a locking screw that locks against the handle so it dont work its way loose after you thread it in. So simple, wish I could have invented that.

Yeah...and if you DO like it...you better go back and get another one before they're gone.

ANYTHING that I really, really, really enjoy (the small things), I buy two or more of them, thinking that they're probably too good for companies to profit off of; therefore they will replace the item with a china version soon.

Ya I know, you guys are right,,,, I"ll have to go back tomarrow and get another one, and set it aside for now. They have a web site www.libman.com, if anyone needs a broom....

I never learned how to run one of those.

Seriously, I don't think my father-in-law ever bought anything one at a time. If he needed a can of Heet, he bought a case. If he needed a pair of work gloves, he bought a bundle of a dozen. He bought motor oil in 55 gallon drums. After he died, it took me five years to use everything up. But, I didn't complain about all the freebies.

I bought an electric heater from Menard;s not long ago. It would shut down intermittantly. Made in China. I took it back and looked at all8 of the other offerings there. All made in China. From 17$ to 28$. I asked the cust serv desk why they had 8 models of China made maodels and not one from USA. SHe gave me a "suggestion form". said she totally agreed. I sent it in .WTF?
So I went online, found a "Vornado" And it's flawless, digital perfect, made in USA. $75

But to me it's worth it. NO MORE CHINA!

Good for you!!!Being over here kinda sucks when it comes to stuff like that. If you want an affordable price, you have to buy the cheap stuff. Every now and then, the folks at the PX (military shopping center) screws up and orders the wrong thing or too much of something (stuff that a soldier in a stairwell apartment has no use for) and I can get something usable. I'll be my first time in the States in 12 years next month and will be shopping for goodies to send back here.
