Getting to that hunting camp been a problem in the past.
Want to be the first person fishing out on the thin ice.
Do not worry…. The marsh buggy concept has finally made it to the ATV world making a true All Terrain Vehicle.

Speeds of 25 mph on dry land and it amphibious.
Thin ice or wet marsh land are no match for this ATV.

Yes it has to work on the dozer or other track vehicle concept where one track turn while the other stops to make turns.
How they did it is unknown. You can see from the picture each track is hooked to a rear wheel spot but a ATV would not allow for steering with the rear end.
Did they replace the whole rear end; or do they use brakes to stop one track and allow the spider gears to take up the slippage is also unknown.

This is a new product (patent pending)on the market. I found out about it from a ad in a local magazine. Their web site does show a video of one in action (gatorfoot.com) but does not have any details about operation or price. You can tell from watching the video that the steering is no longer part of the handle bars.

For me it sure looks like it is real tail heavy and may be susceptible to backwards flip over if put in the right situation. I guess that may or may not come about in future testing.

LOL
Very good point Walt.

The magazine ad shows him riding with out the waders but who knows. Even if this was pictures taken during testing; I do not think those waders would have done him any good in the place where he is at. That bottom is like quick sand out in that marsh.

Normally the right handlebar lever actuates both front brakes and the left handlebar lever rear brakes but if you recabled them to be right one front and one rear[right side] and then left handlever to do left side front and left side rear. Then keep the footlever to work both sides rear together.Just a guess. It does look too wide for most trails with trees alongside.
