I just got done reading your second reply to my post the other day. My old head hasent seen the corn yours has. When I bought mine used, I had to take the gas ax and welder to it so I could put it on a 7720 which has almost 6200 hours on it now. We also run a 105 with a six row head with over 4600 hours. Thanks again for the help.

A 105? I spent 19 years in the cab, and everywhere else of a 105 with a 6 row 635 head. I don't know what formula Deere used to come up with the 635 number but I'm thinking it means 635 feet of #60 chain! All that noisy chain soaks up a lot of power from that 4020 engine.Jim
