20lb forklift propane tank

anybody got any 20lb (4.7 gallon) forklift propane tanks for sale. i have a ad on the classifieds also

Just curious, how is this different from a 20lb BBQ tank?

BBQ tanks are meant to be used in an upright position, (valve up) and draw vapor from the tank.

Forklift tanks generally are used laying on their side in a cradle and draw liquid from the valve.

There are also differences in dimensions (diameter) to fit in the forklift cradle.

Also the fitting used to connect are different.

Really course threads on the forklift one.

Some forklift tanks are mounted vertically though.

Carburation should be able to be adjusted to accept either liquid or vapor.

Ive never saw a 20Lb lift tank, just the 33Lb.

I set my forklift up to just run off the vapors of a BBQ tank mounted up right. Ran fine this way.

i have 2 of them now but i need 2 more. they are just like the 33lb ones but shorter. the place i have them mounted i cannot get a 33lb one in it. these tanks hold 4.7 gallons of liquid
