O/T POSTED SIGNS

Anyone know of a good source (on line) for plastic "posted" signs? I'm assuming that plastic will be the right choice. Thanks -BB

Have been using signs on the roll form local hardware. They are made of a material called Tyvek. Probably the same stuff they make house wrap out of. Lasts about two years, when carefully stapled up to a smooth bark tree, or fencepost. Second year they show some fading, and I may add a few staples. Ones I get have a line for you to add your name. I just fold that under, and leave name off. Don"t know how long a permanent marker would last on these. Hope this helps.

In spite of our laws in Wis, Mills Fleet Farm stores have signs by the thousands. My neighbor has a "No Hunting or Trespassing" sign on every fencepost.

Never needed them Honest folks will go to the house and ask the others will just walk past the sign take a few shots at it and go hunting anyway.

You might want to check with your local constabulary on whether they'll arrest or ticket someone on your unposted property unless you have first asked them to leave. In Washington, if you call the Sheriff, first thing they ask is if property is posted. If answer is no, they'll tell you to go tell the folks to leave, and call back if they don't leave (or leave and later come back).
