Ford 3400 with loader NS, wanted 4500.

It started raining so we left. 2-3 large late model JDs brought over from England that I did not see sell. Don't know how the exchange rate is now. On another post Dave2 said .71 euros to dollar, don't know how pound-dollar rate is. Exchange rate does affect the number of gray market tractors brought in. The Englishman who brought over the JDs was showing some interest in buying something to go back with.

On the back lot was a 5610 and a 7610 Ford with wheels and front axles off obviously out of a shipping container ready for assembly. Looked like prety good tractors.

Got inch of rain here in Western SC. Raining nicely now. wish I had got the garden corn planted.

I've been to two large consignment auctions in the last couple of weeks.

One thing is easily apparent: Regardless of what's being said about the economy, if any particular item is worth owning, people have no qualms about paying an appropriate price for it.

Southern SC. Got about half of our corn planted this week and have 1 item in local auction today. Hope the rain doesn't run everyone away.
