I have a concern with the apparent over control the Federal Bailout Gurus are directing at the big three Automobile Co"s access to Federal Loans to get them thru this bad economic times whereas hardly any publicly known controls were applied to the same type funds offered to the financial giants of the Insurance and Money Markets. What a Cat and Mouse Game this has turned into IMO.Jc

Who has to dig, I heard that on NBC at a couple minutes after seven this AM. A more reliable news outlet will emphisize the "D's" and minimize the "R's" however I am sure.

It's not just AIG. Do a little research on how much GE was given. Yea, their big-wigs get million dollar bonuses also.

There is a small difference. The banks and insurance companies MIGHT survive once they get back on their feet. The auto industry cannot continue to operate as they have and survive. If they do not get their costs under control, we will be pouring money down a huge drainage hole until someone finally says, "Dammit, that tired old horse is dead - quit beating it!"
