Got a lot of calves on the ground have you Bill? I haven't even started yet. Learned my lesson last year. Weather here will no doubt turn to crap again when I do start though.

40 + on the ground, started on the 13th and should finish by the 10th of May only leave the bulls out for 60 days. Back in the days of raising bulls we started heifers the 20th of Feb. and cows mar 1st/

It died out for us around 10 or so Friday afternoon...Neighbor has cows on his stalks across the road, talked to him for a bit, sounds like his cows and calves made it through ok, the wet snow is killer on cows and calves, snow, cold, they can deal with....said he's got a few sick here and at the Wray ranch, but hasn't lost anything.

The moisture is very much appreciated! Could have done without the 40-50 mph winds though.
