Tanks...oil for Allis Chalmers

I just want to thank everyone who has helped me on this forum. I am new to old tractors and need all the help I can get. I do have one more question though....What weight / brand motor oil and transmission / hydraulic oil is best for an Allis Chalmers 1949 model B four cylinder.

Years ago when I work at an Allis dealer, the farmers used 20W-20 in the engine and 20W non-foaming oil in the trans/hyd. Today I would use a 30W or a 10W-30 in the engine as 20W-20 is almost IMPOSSIBLE to find and use Universal Trans/Hydraulic in the Trans/Hyd. System.

Interesting. I just serviced my C. I use 15W-40 engine oil out of the same barrel for all my off road engines(and diesel truck) I just topped off the trans. on the C with some also as the trans/hyd oil is so thin and my antique tractors are so weepy.
