Ford CM224 Vibration

Hello,
I have a CM 224 that will begin to vibrate when the machine is under a load as in going up a hill. The vibration occurs in either high or low range and with or with out the mower deck engaged. Any help would be appreciated.

Does it have a driveshaft that drives a hydro unit ? maybe check the u-joints in it ?

Hydrostat? Check the oil level in the hydrostat. Going uphill you might be sucking air. Can ruin a pump real fast.

I had that same problem.Just ignored it and then one day BAM!Front u joint in the drive shaft came apart.If I remember it took around $150 and 2 hours to fix.Good luck.

Thanks to all, the front u-joint spline is worn where it attaches to the Hydro, oil level is ok. I have a new one on order.
