Just got home from attending the Trenton Air Base repatriation for four young soldiers who were KIA in Afghanastan helping the local villagers. One of our troopers was just eighteen years young the other three in their early twenties. All four were helping local villagers when booby trapped bombs went off.Surely some goodness will come from all this death and destruction. To the four soldiers we say stand down you have done your duty. To their familys we say God bless you and be it known to all we are proud of these troops who give us at home our freedom and way of life and we will never forget them.

Amen to that.

And thanks for drawing attention to something that we all tend to ignore in our busy lives, that someone somewhere may have just died for our freedom.

I'm sure I'll get fried for this, but don't you find it interesting that now that the election is over, the media no longer reports the number of soldiers KIA?

I had a tear reading this,as these 4 great Americans died for our flag. They were doing what my Dad did in Europe in 44,and my brother did in Vietnam in 68,fighting for freedom.

My hat is off to them
