Dennis, do you mean injectors?

Sounds like they don't really know. There are 2 types of glow plugs used in Duramax production. They are NOT interchangeable. If I remember correctly, when I went to DMax school, if the wrong glow plug is used, it breaks off in the head. The heads have to come off to fix.

Unfortunately, it sounds like all-too-typical dealer service: When in doubt, take the "shotgun" approach. If you change enough stuff, sooner or later you'll get lucky and replace whatever is causing the problem.

The dealer had to rebuild the transmission in my wife's brand-new Trailblazer because the technician didn't find a broken wire the first time around.
