John Deere 830 pony motor

I have a pony motor off my 830 bought the tractor with an electric starter dont really know what to do with the motor i dont know if it even runs anybody body have an idea what its worth?
Thanks
Ben

Its to late to put it back where it belongs the tractor has been completely converted over to electric start If the pony motor had been running when i got the tractor i would have kept it but its in parts and im not even sure if its all there

never too late. if factory electric u may be ok in warm climate but otherwise if not factory 24 volt setup or even COOL temps you'll be titsup! pony will be only satisfactory way to start it.

Ben, I don't know how the elec. conversion starting works...... I'm sure you know that your tractor is worth a lot more with the pony on there.... other than that have nice day...

Dash, battery box, coolant plumbing, diesel air intake and everything changed over?
What size is the starter, what voltage, cable size and voltage? Will it crank the diesel continuously under compression?
