serial number of Massy Ferguson

I bought a Massy Ferguson out of a weed patch and am trying to find out what year and Model it is. The tag on the side of the engine block says
Z134 720762. I know that the Z134 means its a gas engine made by continental and figure the 720762 is the serial #. But I cant find any tractor years with that serial #
 
That'll be the engine serial # which doesn't tell much about the tractor itself. That is in fact a Z134, which was used in a number of different models. Serial # of the tractor SHOULD appear on a small metal plate found on the dash, near the steering column.
 
thanks. I've looked everywhere and can not find any more tags or metal plates. I was wanting to start ordering parts and not sure of the year. Any other way to find out?
 
It could be a something 35. Go to the left column and look up tractor registry under Research and Info. Some people list their engine serial #s that might give you some idea of the model #. No guarantees.
 
If it was built in the Common Market countries the serial plate may be on the side of the transmission. As you sit in the tractors seat, it is on your right side, underneath the brake petal attached to the side of the tranny.
