Potato average yield

About how many potatoes should one expect from 50 lbs of seed. Its been about 40 years since I grew any taters. Fertilizer requirements of spuds ?

for every seed potato you plant, you should get somewhere around ten potatoes back. Not sure what that equals out to by the pound, but I hope that I have been of some help!!

Keep in mind, you can cut the eyes out with a sizable chunk of flesh attached for the eye to use as energy to get started. Let it sit over night to suberize and then plant the pieces, it"ll extend your seed potatoes for sure
