i have a 3588 2+2. i need the front fuel tank. it is no longer available from IH. anyone know of an aftermarket one available?

That should be something that a welding shop would easily be able to make for you.

Where are you located?

I have one that I replaced in warranty because a spot weld cracked on the bracket that holds the AC filter/accumulator.

I put a sheet metal screw with a gasket in the hole and used it as a nurse tank in the back of my pickup.

Just plumb directly to the rear tank.
Most trips to the field with a 2+2 you'll be broke down before you can use a half a tank of fuel anyway.
