JD1010 loader compatibility

I posted this on the JD forum with no response so will ask for your opinions here. I have my JD1010 gas with ps restored and there is a JD145 loader for sale not too far away. I would like to know if that loader would be a good match for the 1010. I haven't phoned the owner yet to find out what he had it on. Leon

Tractor could be a bit too small or the loader could be a bit too big. Not sure which. I would call the owner sooner rather later and also check with local John Deere dealer. By the way you did get at least one reply on the John Deere board. Armand

Depends in the 1010 has the high or low pressure hydraulics.
With the late 2250 psi 1010 hydraulics. The 145 loader will lift enough to damage an agricultural 1010's front end.
You will have to consider open and closed center hydraulics as well.
